Senior Thesis: The Outlaws

A short animation where a group of bank escape prison yet it’s not so simple. Watch them go an interesting journey through multiple portals to escape the cops and hopefully get back to their original dimension .

“CRuSHIN”

I designed an animation for Kabir Koh, an electronic DJ in the DMV area and owner of Hast Du Feuer. The crushin' rave series is supposed to be a safe space for queer people to make connections, dance, and love each other.

“Kissing the Machine” album cover

Singer and songwriter Ferrin Threatt asked me to design the front and back of her first album, “Kissing The Machine,” which is now available on all music streaming platforms. The cover art idea originated from Ferrin wanting a colorful distorted face, a cross between technology and art, and the inclusion of my doodles.

“Yellow Peril supports black power”

I collaborated with a Vietnam collective named SuperBloom. One of the members, Jennifer Bui, reached out to me to work on a piece and border illustrations that signify the message “Yellow Peril Supports Black Power” to include in their newspaper for a BIPOC exhibition. The phrase “Yellow Peril Supports Black Power” traces its roots to the 1960s, and Asian Americans are repurposing it as a show of solidarity with the Black people.
